2023-2025 Contract Bargaining Updates
Your EWU Uniformed Personnel contract has been ratified! The highlights of what we bargained include:
- 3.5% increase on July 1, 2023
- 3.5% increase on July 2, 2024
- 1.5% FTO Compensation for all hours worked
- 1.5% Armorer and Firearm Instructor Compensation while performing those duties and training
- $1000.00 Retention Payment
- Seniority for Shift Bidding and Vacation
- $0.25 increase to shift differentials
In the next 3 years, Eastern Washington University receives $10.25 increases to base salary for every member within the bargaining unit. In terms of comparable wages, that's approximately $1000 below the base wage for State Patrol Troopers and the high end of all Universities.
