Sue Henricksen, AFSCME Council 28 (WFSE) President
(800) 562-6002

A Message from Your President:

Let’s make 2018 a 100% Union Proud year.

Our new contracts are proof that when we join together, we win.

The new two-year collective bargaining agreements that took effect July 1, 2017, represent the largest compensation package since the start of full-scope collective bargaining in 2004 for members in state agencies, colleges and universities. And they bring the first increase in vacation leave in more than 40 years. The contracts address the recruitment and retention crisis in state agencies, colleges and universities. You can get more details online at:

In 2018, we start a new round of negotiations to make our next contracts even better. We’ll have many opportunities to make a difference. When we stand together, we can win strong contracts. Why? To sustain our families in a time when many forces want to take away that basic right. If you haven’t already done so, please sign a 100% Union card.

In solidarity!
