Presenter: Olga Cepeda; PhD in Behavioral Ecology, MS in Behavior of Tropical Bees and BS in Biology
                                            
Olga is one of our own long time members and:
  • Former Treasurer of our Interpreters United (WFSE) Local 1671,
  • A native of Colombia and lived in The Netherlands (1999-1991 and 1995-1997), Brazil (1999-2003) and USA (1963-1969 and 2003-Present),
  • Fluent in Dutch, Portuguese,  English and Spanish languages,
  • DSHS Certified Medical and Social Interpreter and Translator since 2006,
  • Educated at Universidad de Sao Paulo, Brazil (1999-2003), Utrecht University, The Netherlands (1995-1997), Universidad Nacional de Colombia, Colombia (1978-1988)
  • A frequent presenter on subjects of expertise.
This presentation will cover the information necessary to understand the basic anatomy and physiology of the Respiratory System. It also provides summaries on most common diseases and some treatments, including the symptoms of flu/cold versus Covid-19/SARS-CoV-2.
 
Due to the limitation by Zoom the workshops are limited to 300 attendees and based on "first-come, first served."
